In 2003, OmniMetrix introduced its Tank Level Monitoring product line. This general purpose wireless product delivers regularly scheduled tank level measurements of materials in remote storage tanks. This system was developed specifically to address the needs of data collection from very remote sites. OmniMetrix even developed its own immersible pressure sensor for this application. The system can deliver both analog level measurements and level alarm messages. This system is Lithium battery powered, and can provide at least 5 years of install life on a single battery. This avoids the need for attaching solar cells or running power to the tank site. As in all OmniMetrix designs, simplicity of installation and operation are key in the Tank Level Monitor.
